Description

Together with formdusche – studio für gestaltung and the awesome Till Schröder, I worked on this bibliography of German illustrator and graphic designer Frans Haacken.

Trying to implement Haacken’s styles and techniques into the design, my work areas included research, creating the layout, selecting colors and fonts, working out a suitable grid, designing the endpaper and a whole lot of microtypography (everything of course with the help of the lovely guys at formdusche).

You can get your very own copy at Gretanton publishers.

Marie Zieger is a lettering artist, editorial aficionado and graphic designer working and living in Graz, Austria. She’s in love with script fonts, role-playing video games, mockumentaries and playing around with different types of paper or printing methods – still her heart belongs to custom lettering and illustrated typography.
