Description

Together with Graulicht Madame Mohr was invited by the architect office BUS to develop and implement furniture for the outside area of the new WU campus Vienna.

They created 30 square metres of seating made out of textile concrete. The flat area of the big table dissolves into waves towards the east, creating a large amount of soft forms that invite people to lie or sit on them, equally suitable for daydreaming or debating.

The concrete forms are made of concrete canvas and held up by a forest of steel stanchions that mirror the behavior of the direction and length of the above-lying surfaces thereby reinforcing the effect of dissolution.
