Descrip­ti­on

My Print Port­fo­lio does not only dis­play my work but is also an attempt to encou­ra­ge peop­le to wri­te more messa­ges by hand. After each pro­ject, a post­card with a rep­re­sen­ta­ti­ve image of the shown pro­jec­ts is atta­ched.

In case peop­le are unsu­re whom to wri­te, the­re are even several sug­ges­ti­ons whom they could wri­te a post­card to. For me it was important to crea­te some­thing with an addi­tio­nal value and nowa­days whe­re messa­ges are almost just writ­ten digi­tal­ly, I wan­ted to remind peop­le again of the power of hand writ­ten messa­ges. At the same time my work would also be spread to the reci­pi­ents of the post­cards and a wider ran­ge of peop­le would get to know my work. It might even reach some poten­ti­al cli­ents.

Over­all seen, it was important for me to think about every tiny detail and tell more about mys­elf as a per­son. The woo­den cover expres­ses my love for natu­re and the cop­tic bin­ding rep­res­ents pas­si­on for doing stuff manu­al­ly. I inclu­ded trans­pa­rent pages with the sug­ges­ti­ons about whom to send a mes­sa­ge to. This was done in order to bring more spon­ta­n­ei­ty and varie­ty into the bock. It also rep­res­ents my never ending curio­si­ty to try out some­thing new and get to know new ter­ri­to­ries.

Lisa Neureiter
Lisa Neu­rei­ter is an Aus­tri­an Gra­phic Desi­gner. Ori­gi­nal­ly she comes from a vil­la­ge in the south of Aus­tria and star­ted in 2012 to stu­dy Infor­ma­ti­on Design at the FH JOANNEUM in Graz, Aus­tria. At the moment she is working on her bache­lor the­sis to gra­dua­te this autumn.
She enjoys bran­ding stuff as well as com­bi­ning ana­log and digi­tal tech­ni­ques. When she is not working on her pro­jec­ts or estab­li­shing new ide­as she likes tra­ve­ling, lan­guages, good food and new chal­len­ges.
